In different Medium, The speed of light Or you can say velocity of light (Note -> We use speed and velocity interchagabely only when anything moving in a straight path...on that time the magnitude of both speed and velocity are same...so we use both the term interchangably)
is different for different Media(Plural of medium)
The speed of light is in air is approximately equal to the speed of light in Vaccume(Free space) and light travel fastest in air.
Water is denser medium , When light enters the water , it actually bends towards Normal Due to change in speed of light i.e, speed of light decreases as it enters the water...
The difference is Light travel fastest in air than water....
