$\frac{ - 1}{2} + \frac{2}{5} = \frac{ - 1}{10}$
let the number added to above fraction will be X
$x + ( \frac{ - 1}{10} ) = \frac{ - 3}{20}$
$x = \frac{ - 3}{20} + \frac{1}{10}$
x= (-3+2)/20
x= -1/20 .
