Given :- The set of all positive integers less than 0 is:

A) an infinite set

B) an empty set

C) a singleton set

D) {0}

Answer :-

we know that,

  • Positive integers starts from + 1 to + infinity on right side of number line . They are greater than 0 .
  • Negative number starts from - 1 to - infinity and on left side of the number line . They are less than 0 .
  • A set which contains no element is known as an empty set. ( It is also known as a null set. )

so, we can conclude that,

→ Number of positive integers less than 0 = Less than 0 are negative integers = 0

let set is denoted by S .

then,

→ S = { } = An empty set . (Option B)
