Present age of son= x

Present age of father= x+30

age of so after 5 yrs = x+5

age of father after 5 yrs = 5+x+30= x+35

its said that he will b thrice as old as his son so,

3*(x+5)=x+35

2x=20

x=10

so present age of son is 10yrs.

x+30= present age of father

40yrs= present age of father
