a) Present age of father = 42

Present age of son = 14

Ratio = 42:14 = 3:1

b) Father's age when son was 12 years old = 42-2 = 40

Son's age = 12

Ratio = 40:12 = 10:3

c)Father's age after 10 years = 42+10= 52

Son's age after 10 years = 14+10= 24

Ratio = 52:24 = 13:6

d) Age of father = 30

Age of son when father was 30 years old = 14-12 = 2

Ratio = 30:2 = 15:1
