Q.. prove that
x²+1=5​

Answer:

x²+1=5

x² = 5-1

x² = 4

x = √4

x = 2

checking

substitute x = 2 in x²+1=5

2²+1 = 5

4+1 = 5

5 = 5

hence it is proved

x ² - 4 = 0

( x - 2 ) ( x + 2 ) = 0

x = 2

x = - 2
