Answer:
- Mango thrives well under humid and dry conditions. It requires good rainfall during its growing season i.e. June to October and rainless, dry weather from November onwards.
- Mango varieties usually thrive well in places with rainfall in the range of 75-375 cm. /annum and dry season. The distribution of rainfall is more important than its amount. Dry weather before blossoming is conducive to profuse flowering.
- Wood is extensively used for low-cost furniture, floor, ceiling boards, window frames, heavy packing cases, match splints, brush backs, oar blades, agricultural implements etc. Also suitable for tea chest plywood. A hard charcoal of high calorific value is obtained from mango wood.
