Step-by-step explanation:

Let ravi has 'x' 50-paise coins & 'y' 25-paise coins.

he has rs 34

So rs 1 = 100 paise

rs 34 = 34*100 = 3400 paise

50x + 25y = 3400 ----------- (1)

Given that , y = 2x ------------(2)

from equation (1) & (2) we get

50x + 25*(2x) = 3400

50x + 50x = 3400

100x = 3400

x = 34

From (2) we get

y = 2x = 2*34 = 68

So,

Number of 50-paise coins = 34

Number of 25-paise coins = 68

i hope its help u

Answer:

Numner of 50 paise coins are 68 and number of 25 paise coins are 136.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let,

Number of 50 paise coin be=x

Number of 25 paise coin be=2x

Converting 50 paise to 1 rupee we get=x/2

Converting 25 paise to 1 rupee we get=2x/4

Conditionally,

X/2+2x/4=68

Or, x/2+x/2=68

Or, 2x/2=68

Therefore, x=68

Hence, 50 paise coins=68 coins

Hence, 25 paise coins=68*2 coins

=136 coins

Ans: The number of 50 paise coins are 68 and there are 136 25 paise coins.
