Good Afternoon everyone. Here is a flash news about the heavy rains in South Kerala.
There are heavy rains across the South Kerala from nearly 2 days,which are very dangerous that fed away do many lives.
In TVM and Kottayam, there is a rainfall of approximately 12 cms in 2 days.
The Government is saying that the cause of these heavy rains is the depression caused in Indian Ocean.
Due to this heavy rainfall, Major rivers over flowed. And for the sake of saving people, The Government opened the dam shutters.
These severe rains took away the lives of 12. That means 12 people were died due to these rains. So many people had become homeless due to the damage of their houses due to these deadly rains.
The Relief Camps were have been opened by the Government and other Social Workers.
The Chief Minister of Kerala conducted an urgent Cabinet Meeting about the heavy rains. The C.M is supporting everyone and advising the officers from the camp office only.
The Chief Minister of Kerala is trying to take necessary steps to save the lives of people and control the deaths of people due to these heavy rains.
The Department of Meteorology say that Rains are to be continued for 2 more days. and it advises all the people to be more cautious.
After hearing the news of Meteorology Department, The Govt also advises all people to be more cautious this time. The Govt also declared that It won't let any other person to die this time.
The Social Workers and NGOs distributed food packets and other necessary items to the affected areas.
