see as this is my favourite subject I will be providing you with various differences:-

1.Astrology:-

  1. it is a study of stars and different faces which they form.
  2. it is mostly done by priests,etc...
  3. it is used to tell someone's future.
  4. there are different uses of astrology in different religion.
  5. there is no scientific reason behind this.
  6. in Hindu mythology this has been used since Ramayana and Mahabharata.
  7. zodic symbols are based on this.
  8. in different mythology these are called in different names.

2. Astronomy:-

  1. this is the scientific study of stars.
  2. it is used to tell the physics behind different phenomena in space.
  3. its history is very old like astrology.
  4. famous astronomers are Aryabhatta, Stephen Hawkins , michio kaku, etc..
  5. many famous scientist have put there were to improve astronomy like Albert Einstein, Edwin Hubble, etc..
  6. some famous astronomy organisations are NASA, ISRO, ESA, JAXA,etc..
  7. astronomy astronomy is used in every fields.
  8. basically maths physics chemistry is used to solve problem related to to astronomy and space.

there is a confusion, most of us things that cosmology ,astronomy and astrophysics is same. But it is a myth. They all are different:-

1. cosmology:-

it is a simple study of space.

2. astronomy:-

already defined above.

3. astrophysics:-

astrophysics is astronomy + physics

which means it it is used to solve astronomy with the help of physics.
