Let Rahul Dravid's score be X. (no of runs that is).

Tendulkar scored twice the amount, hence 2x.

Both of their runs fell 2 short of a double century. That means they only got 198 runs in total.

That means 2x + x = 200-2

3x = 198

x = 198/3 = 66 runs..

Rahul Dravid scored 66 runs and Sachin Tendulkar scored 66 x 2 = 132 runs..

Answer:

Let the score that rahul did be x. So the run did by Sachin will be 2x. They together made 2 short of double century. So they together made 200-2=19
