Q. Salt and Sugar aren't seems to have a fixed shape then why do we call them as Solids ?

salt amd sugar do not have a fixed shape or size when kept in jars.But each individual salt and sugar has a defenite shape and size

Salt and Sugar aren't seems to be have a fixed shape but are considered to be Solids because Salt and Sugar have very tiny crystals because the shape of the individual crystals of Salt and Sugar remains fixed that is they are to be called as Solids .
Even when they are put in jars of different shapes, they do not change their shape. And doesn't fill the container completely.
