length of a rectangle = 32 cm

area of a square = area of a rectangle

let breadth of a rectangle be x cm

then,

area of a square = area of a rectangle

=> (24)² = 32 × x

=> 576 = 32x

=> x = 576÷32

=> x = 18

hence, breadth of a rectangle is 18 cm.
