 =  > 2x + 3y = 8

 =  > 5xy = 8

 =  >  xy = \frac{8}{5}

solution \: 2

 =  > 4x + 6y = 14

 =  > 10xy = 14

 =  > xy =  \frac{10}{14}

2x + 3y = 8.....(1)

4x + 6y = 14....(2)

Answer :

We multiple (1) × 2

(2x + 3y) × 2 = 8 × 2

4x + 6y = 16.....(3)

We use elimination method with equation (3) and (2)

4x + 6y = 16

4x + 6y = 14

(-) (-) (-)

0 = 2

0 = 2

It is not true.

Hence, the equation has no solution.
