3x +  \frac{1}{5}  = 2 - x

taking LCM of left hand side

 \frac{15x + 1}{5}  = 2 - x

multiply both sides by 5

15x + 1 = (2 - x)5

15x + 1 = 10 - 5x

adding both side 5x

20x + 1 = 10

Subtracting both sides 1

20x = 9

dividing both sides by 20

x =  \frac{9}{20}

The correct answer will be "9/20".

Step-by-step explanation:

The \ given \ equation \ will \ be:\\3x+\frac{1}{5}=2-x\\On \ taking \ lcm,we \ get\\\frac{15x+1}{5}=2-x\\On \ applying \ cross \ multiplication,we \ get\\15x+1=5(2-x)\\15x+1=10-5x\\On \ adding \ "5x" \ both \ sides,we \ get\\   15x+1+5x=10-5x+5x\\20x+1=10\\On \ subtracting \ "1" \ from \ both \ sides,we ] get\\20x+1-1=10-1\\20x=9\\x=\frac{9}{20}
