⟹40 - 48m + 80 =  - 40m + 80

⟹40 + 80 - 48m =  - 40m + 80

⟹120 - 48m =  - 40m + 80

⟹120 - 80 =  - 40m + 48m

⟹40 = 8m

⟹m =  \frac{40}{8}  = 5

CHECK:-

⟹40 - 16(3(5) - 5) =  - 10(4(5) - 8)

⟹40 - 16(15 - 5) =  - 10(20 - 8)

⟹40 - 16(10) =  - 10(12)

⟹40 - 160 =  - 120

⟹ - 120 =  - 120
