Q.Speed and velocity do not have same dimensions then what are their dimensions?

you are CONFUSED I THINK !!!!
Speed = distance / Time
and distance means length we calculate in Meters , Km , mm , cm etc.
Time we calculate it in sec , hour , min etc..
Now Unit of Speed = m/s
And the Dimension formula = M L⁻¹
Same in the case of the displacement which we calculate as a parameter of the length
velocity = Displacement / Time
unit = m /s
Dimension Formula = M L⁻¹
