Q Starting from the nasal cavity describe the path of air from its entrance in the nasal cavity to its utilisation in the air sac.

we can breathe through both lungs and our lungs as well. but it is advised to breathe through nose because our nassal passage is lined up with hair and mucus which filters the air entering our body and prevents dirt from entering the body . from the nassal passage the air enters trachea or wind pipe which is surrounded by c -shaped cartilagenous rings which helps to prevent collapsing of wind pipe during inhalation and exhalation. now the air goes into bonchi which end into the two parts of lungs . each bronchi is further divided into several bronchioles . each bronchiole have a grape or sac like structure called alvouli which is lined up with thick blood vessels and thus helps in easy diffusion of gasses . now co2 rich air is easily taken out of the body through the same path....

  Alveoli:. Air ends its pathway in the alveoli (sing. alveolus) which are tiny sacs with very fine singe-celled walls. These alveoli are surrounded by capillaries that connect the pulmonary arteries and veins and that enable transfer of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
