x/y=6/5.........._1
x+y =66............_2
now by eq 1
x=6y /5 .
putting value in eq 2
6y/5+y=66
11y/5=66
y=30
and x =36

now for ratio
let a be years
so
36+a/30+a=8/7
252+7a=240+8a
a =12

after 12 year ,the ratio of there ages will be 8:7
