Given

we have given side of the square which is 40cm

and breadth of the Rectangle is 25cm

To Find

we have to find the length of the Rectangle and it's perimeter

Since,area of square and Rectangle are equal.

So, we first find area of square

Area of square = (side)²

Area of square = (40)²=1600cm²

Area of Rectangle= length × breadth

Area of Rectangle= 1600cm²

=>1600= length × breadth

let the length of the Rectangle be 'x'cm

=>1600= x × 25

=>1600=25x

=>x= 1600÷25

=>x=64

hence,length of the Rectangle is 64cm

Now,we have to find its perimeter

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(length+breadth)

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(64+25)

Perimeter of Rectangle=2(89)

Perimeter of Rectangle=178cm

Therefore, length of the Rectangle is 64cm

& Perimeter is 178cm
