HEY MATE!

We are provided with the density of the ice block as 0.921gm/cm^3.

Also we are given that length of each side as 76mm => 7.6cm

Now we take out the volume of the cubic ice brick which is given by => (edge) ^3

=> (7.6×7.6×7.6) cm^3

Now to find out the mass we apply the formula :

density =  \frac{mass}{voume}  \\  \\ mass = density \:  \times volume \\  \\ mass \:  = 0.921 \times 7.6 \times 7.6 \times 7.6 \\  \\ mass = 404.296896 \:</em></strong><strong><em> gm

Which is approximately equal to

4.0 ×10^2 (or simply say 400 gm).

Hope it helps

Solution :-

As given :-

Density of ice = 0.921 g /cm³

Length of side of cubic block of ice

= 76 mm

Now as we are known :-

\star \sf{ Density = \dfrac{Mass}{Volume}}

✨Volume of cube = (length of side)³

= l³

Now

Volume

= (76 mm)³

or

= (7.6 cm )³

= 438.976 cm³

Now by putting Value of volume in Density :-

\rightarrow \sf{ Density = \dfrac{Mass}{Volume}}

\rightarrow  \sf{ 0.921 = \dfrac{Mass}{438.976}}

\rightarrow  \sf{ Mass = 0.921 \times 438.976 }

\rightarrow \sf{ Mass = 404.297 \: g }

 \rightarrow \sf {Mass = 4.043 \times 10^{2}}

 \rightarrow \sf {Mass = 4 \times 10^{2} \: g}

So the Mass of the block of Ice

 \large{\boxed{ \sf {Mass = 4 \times 10^{2}\: g}}}
