Correct Question:-

The diagonals of a rhombus are 10cm and 24 cm. Find its area.

Given:-

  • Diagonal (1) = 10 cm
  • Diagonal (2) = 24 cm

To Find:-

  • Area of Rhombus

Solution:-

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \mathfrak{ \underline{ \purple{Formula  \: to  \: calculate \:  the  \: area  \: of \:  Rhombus}}}

  \boxed{\mathfrak{ \green{ \large{ \star \:  \:  \:  \:  \: { \red{area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times diagonal(1) \times diagonal(2)}}}}}}

According to question,

 \large{ \tt \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times 24} \\

 \large{ \tt \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:area = 5 \times 24}

 \large{ \tt \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:area =   \boxed{\green{ \mathfrak{120 \:  {cm}^{2} }}}}

Hence,

  • The area of Rhombus is 120 cm²

Answer:

length of base= 10/2=5

length of height=24/2=12

by Pythagoras theorem,

hypotenuse= (5)²+(12)²

(AB)²=25+144

(AB)²=169²=√(13)²

H= 13CM

SO ,the side of rhombus is 13 cm

perimeter of rhoumbus=4*side

=4*13

= 52cm

therefore ,the perimeter of rhombus is 52cm.
