Q. The energies of three conservative energy levels L3,L2 and L1 of hydrogen atom are E0, 4E09 and E04
respectively. A photon of wavelength λ is emitted for a transition L3 to L1. What will be the wavelength of emission for transition L2 to L1?

Wavelength(lambda)=E2-E1 acorrding to Bohr's frequency condition
Wave length(lambda) = Eo - Eo/4 = 3Eo/4
Eo = 4 lambda/3 ......(1)
This is for from L3 to L1

Now
Wavelength =4Eo/9 - Eo4 = 7Eo/36....(2)
Then sub (1) in (2)
U Get the answer 7Eo/36
All the best
