Q. The focal length of a concave mirror if f and the object distance from principal focus is x .Show that the magnification produce by the mirror is f/x.

we know that m=-v/u where v is dis. b/w image and pole and u is dist. b/w obj. and pole we know that obj. is placed on f and f is in minus because f of concave mirror in minus so -f/-f minus sign has cut we know that f=x so we put the value of f=x endhence answer is f/x
