{\huge{\underline{\bf{AnsWer :}}}}

Perimeter of the rectangle = 240 cm

Breadth = 30cm

Length = ??

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

=> 240 = 2(l + 30)

=> 240/2 = l + 30

=> 120 = l + 30

=> l = 120-30

=> l = 90cm.

Hence, we got length as 90cm

Area of the rectangle = l*b

= 90*30

= 2700cm² ans.

Given :

➝ Perimeter = 240 cm

➝ Breadth of rectangle = 30 cm

To find :

➝ length of rectangle

Formula used :

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Area of rectangle = l×b

where :-

➡️ l = length

➡️ b = breadth

Solution :

➝ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

➝ 240 = 2(l+b)

➝ 240/2 = l+30

➝ 120 = l+30

➝ 120-30 = l

➝ 90 cm = l

Now we will find out area of rectangle :-

➝ Area of rectangle = l×b

➝ Area of rectangle = 90×30

➝ Area of rectangle = 2700 cm²

Answer :

Area of rectangle = 2700 cm²

Additional Information :

⏺️Area of circle = π r²

⏺️Area of square = (side)²

⏺️Area of rectangle = length × breath

⏺️Circumference of circle = 2πr

⏺️Perimeter of square = 4 × side

⏺️Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length+breadth)

⏺️Perimeter of any figure = sum of all sides of that figure
