Present age of harish is 60 and sonu is 30. 10 years before will be 50 years and 20 years so ration will be 50:20 so 5:2
Hope it helps

Answer:

As it is said that the present age of Harish is 60 years and present age of Sonu is 30 years respectively. Now, after that we have to find out the Ratio of their Ages before 10 years.

What we have to do ?

First we need to go back 10 years before i.e, we will subtract 10 years to find their ages at that time.

Point to Remember :

While doing such problems we need to balance the equation, i.e, 10 should be subtracted from both Harish and Sonu age.

\bigstar\:\underline{\textbf{Let's solve it now :}} \\

  • :\implies \sf Present \: Age \: of \: Harish = 60 \: years \\ \\
  • :\implies \sf Present \: Age \: of \: Sonu = 30 \: years \\ \\

Their Age's , 10 years ago -

:\implies \sf ( Present \: age \: of \: Harish \: - \: 10 ) years \\ \\

:\implies \sf ( Present \: age \: of \: Sonu \: - 10 ) years \\ \\

Then, their Age :-

:\implies \sf Harish \: Age = 60 - 10 \\ \\

:\implies \sf = 50 years \\ \\

  • :\implies \bf Sonu \: Age = 30 - 10 \\ \\
  • :\implies \bf = 20 years \\ \\

Now, we have to find the ratio of age of Harish to the age of Sonu. Simple it is !

\dashrightarrow\:\:\sf Ratio = \dfrac{Harish \: Age}{Sonu \: Age} \\ \\

\dashrightarrow\:\:\sf Ratio = \dfrac{50}{20} \\ \\

Hence,

The ratio is 5 : 2

\dashrightarrow\:\: \underline{ \boxed{\sf Ratio \: of \: their \: Age's = 5 : 2}} \\ \\

:\implies\boxed{\bf{Option \: A \: is \: the \: right \: one}}\\ \\
