Pressure at ground floor = 120000 Pa.

Pressure at third floor = 30000 Pa.

let the height of third floor from ground = h

Pressure drop when water reaches height h = d×g×h

where d= density of water = 1000 kg/m^3

Thus pressure drop = d×g×h

=> 120000 - 30000 = 1000 × 10 × h

=> 90000 = 10000h

=> h = 90000 ÷ 10000

=> h = 9m

Hence, height of third floor is 9m
