Answer:

let the radius be 3x:2X

r1=3x

r2=2x

circumference of first circle = 2* pi * r1

                                             =2*22/7*3x

circumference of second circle= 2*pi*r2

                                                   = 2*22/7*2x

therefore ratio of both the circumference=( 2*22/7*3x)/(2822/7*2x)

                                                                     =3:2

Given :-

  • The ratio of the radii of two circles is 3.2.

To Find :-

  • The ratio of the ccircumfrences = ?

Answer :-

Let the radius of first circle be r and radius of second circle be R.

Let r of first circle be 3x and R of second circle be 2x.

According to Question :-

→ Circumference of first circle = 2πr

→ Circumference of first circle = 2π(3x)

Also,

→ Circumference of second circle = 2πR

→ Circumference of second circle = 2π(2x)

Now,

→ Circumference of 1st circle ÷ Circumference of 2nd circle = 2π(3x) ÷ 2π(2x)

→ 3x ÷ 2x

→ 3 ÷ 2

Therefore,the ratio of the Circumference of the Circle is 3 : 2.
