Q:-The reaction of C2H5OH with NaBr in
the
presence of
H2So4 is slow but when
trimethys silyl chloride (Me2SiCl) is added to it,
reaction
proceed very fast. Explain why?​

This type of reaction is slow. So to speed up the reaction, catalysts are added to the reaction. Here trimethyl silyl chloride (Me2SiCl) acts as a catalyst. So the reaction speeds up.
