Step-by-step explanation:

distance between two men=18m

let height of tree be h

distance between first man and tree be x

distance between second man and tree be 18-x

now

tan=height/base

tan 60 =h/x

√3x=h

tan30 =h/18-x

18-x=√3h eq2

using eq1 and eq2

18-x=3x

x=4.5m

h=√3x

h=4.5√3 m
