Q.Three samples of different gases but having same number of moles, same pressure and volume undergo three different processes.
(I) Sample A of H2 gas expands isothermally and its volume increases by 3 times.
(II) Sample B having gamma = 2 undergoes adiabatic expansion and its volume increases by 2 times.
(III) Sample C having gamma = 3/2 undergoes adiabatic expansion and its volume increases by x times.
Determine the value of x such that, work done by sample A is equivalent to sum of work done by samples B and C.
