let the heights of the two cylinders = H and h
H:h =1:4
H/h =1/4----(1)
their radii are R and r
ratio volumes = 1
V/v= 1
πR²H/πr²h =1
(R/r)² (H/h) =1
(R/r)²(1/4)=1
(R/h)²=(4/1)
(R/r)²= (2/1)²
R/r =2/1
R:r = 2:1
