Q.Underline and correct the misleading word in the following passage about the formation of Himalayas.
Himalayas were formed due to uplifting of Tethys sea's consolidated sediments or sedimentary rock. When northerly moving Indo-Australian plate (the part of Gondwanaland) strikes standstill Eurasian plate (the part of Angara land). Tethys sea lies in between Indo-Australian plate in the northern part and Eurasian plate in the southern part. Thus, we can say that Himalaya lies in the Convergent boundary zone and still rising every day.
