Earth is the only known planet which can support life because:

1. It is located in the Goldilocks zone. The Goldilocks zone or the habitable zone is a range of orbit around a star where liquid water can exist.

2. Earth has a core which creates a magnetic field. This magnetic field protects earth from hazards like solar flares.

3. We have an ozone layer which filters the harm radiation of the sun.

There are no other planets known to support life although several planets have been found in the habitable zone such as Kelper 442-b
