Due to the kinetic energy of the gas molecules, the gases deviate from its ideal behavior.

1. The volume occupied by the gas molecules is negligibly small when compared to the volume occupied by the whole gaseous atom.

2. The force of attraction between the gaseous molecule is negligible.

The inert property of the gases (doesn't react with any other molecules)
