Q) What happens when:

a) Dilute sulphuric acid is poured on a copper plate?
b) Iron nails are placed in copper sulphate solution?

a. No reaction takes place when dilute sulphuric acid is poured on copper plate.

b.When iron reacts with copper sulphate it displaces copper from its salt solution and blue colour solution changes to green this shows iron is more reactive than copper.

Equation:Fe+CuSo4givesFeSo4+Cu.
