Ans. The decimal numeral system is the standard system for denoting integer and non - integer numbers of the Hindu - Arabic Numeral System. The way of denoting numbers in the decimal system is often referred to as decimal notation.
For example :- Base 10 (Decimal) - represent any number using 10 digits (0 - 9) Base 2 (Binary) - represent any number using two digits (0 - 1) Base 8 (Octal) - represent any number using 8 digits (0 - 7).
