It is impossible to accurately determine both the position and the momentum of a microscopic particles simultaneously.
This is heisenbergs uncertainty principle.

Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle

It states that it is impossible to measure position and momentum of any microscopic particle accurately at any instant of time.

∆x . ∆p ≥ \bf{\frac{h}{4π}}

OR

∆x . m . ∆v ≥ \bf{\frac{h}{4π}}

Where

∆x = uncertainty in position

∆p = uncertainty in momentum

∆v = uncertainty in velocity

m = mass

h = plank's constant

Explaination for Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle

To measure position and momentum of any microscopic particle , we have to first able to see it so that we can observe it , for which some light is allowed to fall on it , bu due to the hitting nature of light , the position, the momentum of microscopic particle will change. Hence , they can't be measured accurately.
