Evaporation of liquid means when water gets vaporize in the form of water vapour. Water in the earthen pot becomes cool during summer. Earthen pot has many small pores which are not easily visible by naked eye. So from these pores water gets evaporated and leaves the water inside cool.

evaporation of liquid is that process in which liquid evaporates by latent heat .
water kept in earthen pot becomes cool because pot has small pores in it frm where the water evaporate and as we know that when water evaporate it take latent heat frm the substance. Thats why it become cool
