Q- what is the difference between homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures?

In a homogeneous mixture, the particles that make up the mixture are evenly distributed, and the mixture appears as a single substance. For eg, in a sugar salt solution, we can only see the water and the salt and sugar present in it are not visible.

In a heterogeneous mixture, the particles that make up the mixture are not evenly distributed and each substance in the mixture can be seen separately. For eg, in a sand and water mixture, both water and sand can be seen separately.
