Mirror and lens are both technically used for producing image.

But the differences are:

*In mirror image is formed after reflection while in lens image of formed after refraction.

*In mirror there Is a reflecting surface where as in lens light passes through it to form image.

*Mirror is opaque and lens is transparent.
