SI=Rs 170.10

Time=2 Years

Rate=6%

$we \: know \\ si = \frac{p \times r \times t}{100} \\ or \: 170.10 = \frac{p \times 6 \times 2}{100} \\ or \: 17010 = p \times 12 \\ or \: \frac{17010}{12} = p \\ or \: p = 1417.5$

Ans: Sum of money (principal) on which SI is Rs 170.10 on 2 years at 6% rate is Rs 1714.5
