In towns:-
1. Khadi close was expensive so poor couldn't afford it.
2. There was no alternative to british institutions so teachers students and lawyers got back to work.
3. Many congress leaders were reluctant to boycott election to legislative councils.

All these situations lead to Slowing up of non cooperation movement in India.

Hey mate!

Here is yr answer.....

The causes for the slow fown of non-cooperation movement :

➡ As we know, Khadi is the cloth preffered by Gandhi and he motivated people to use khadi..

➡ Khadi cloth was often much more expensive than the cloths produced in the mills. So, the poor people cannot afford to buy the khadi cloth.. and this became an issue in british india.

➡ Boycott of british institutions is also posed a problem as there were no alternative Indian Institutions..

➡So students and teachers began tricklimg back to the govt. schools.

➡ Even, lawyers joined back the work in the govt. courts..

The above all are the major reasons for.. the slow down of the NON-COOPERATION MOVEMENT in india.

Hope it helps u...
