1. Photosynthesis occurs during the daytime and sunlight is essential for it. On a cloudy morning but sunny afternoon, the rate of photosynthesis will decrease because of reduced sunlight during the morning.

2. In areas where there is no rainfall for a long time will lead to reduced water. This will lead to plants drying up and low chlorophyll. Thus photosynthesis rate will decrease due to the presence of less chlorophyll and water.

3. Stomata on the leaves help in exchange of gases and if they are blocked, carbon-dioxide and oxygen cannot be transferred. If the leaves gather dust on them, the rate of photosynthesis will decrease as the gases won't be transferred and carbon-dioxide is crucial for photosynthesis.
