Q. When a cycle moves, the force of friction in front wheel acts in backward direction but in the rear wheel friction acts in forward direction. Please explain this phenomenon with diagrams

We cant draw the diagram but yes the lower most point of the rear wheel has the tendency to go backwards so the friction acts in foward direction(since you paddle and give force to the rear wheel) but there is no direct force on the front wheel so the frictional force act backwards.
