Here is your answer.

Wavelength of red colour is more and so, it is least scattered. It can be easily seen through a large distance.

Mark as BRAINLIEST if you like it

:)

And have a nice day

Question :-

Why is red colour selected for danger signal lights?

Answer :-

According to the range of wavelengths , red has the highest wavelength .

Thus red can reach a long distance in a short period of time.

Also the red wave is the least scattered .

Thus it does not get refracted easily and hence it is effective for long distances.

So red light is used as a signal light .

Thus red light is chosen and no other colour is better suitable for signals.

Hope it helps :)
