Once upon a time in Shurina Kingdom there was a tradition of slave purchasing. People used to buy slaves from the market. These slaves have to work for their masters and obey their demand. Paan Singh had a slave named Bahadur. He was always ill-treated by him. He used to starve for days and still work for him. To get out of his misery he thought of running away.
One day he runs with his belongings and disappeared int the jungle. On his way he heard wining of lion. He hid behind tree to check for the lions. He saw that the lion was disturbed. He approached towards him and realise a thorn was stuck in his paw. He removes the thorn.
At the moment, hunters spread the net on them and took them to the kingdom. The slave was presented to the king and as punishment he was demanded to fight the lion.
The slave got scared and when he was pushed into the ring to fight the lion, the lion stepped towards him slowly. Bahadur knew he would die soon so he closed his eyes. Bahadur noticed the lion start licking his hands. The king was pleased by this gesture and frees Bahadur.
