Q. you are given a hammer, a battery,a bulb, wires and a switch.
a) How could you use them to distinguish between samples of metals and non-metals?

Metals are sonorous. they produce sounds like "tunggggg" when beaten.

You can beat the substances with the hammer.
Substances which make sound are metals.


Metals conduct electricity.
Using wire, switch and bulb, you can check.
Conductors are metals. Non-conductors are mon-metals
