1.calcium oxide is compound X

when CaO reacts with H20 ,Ca(OH)2 I.e compound y is formed.

compound Z is calcium carbonate.

when excess CO2 is passed thru y milky white appears bcoz calcium carbonate is insoluble in water

2. Pb(NO3)2 Lead Nitrate is compound X

brown flames of Y is nitrogen

It is a decomposition reaction (heat)
