Q1.A door frame of dimensions 3 m by 2 m is fixed on the wall of dimension 10 metre by 10 metre ,find the total labour charges for painting the wall if the labour charges for painting 1 metre square of the wall is Rs 2.50.

Q2. Area of a parallelogram is 24 sq cm and the base is 4 cm ,find its height.

Q3 Find the area of a circle of radius 30 cm.

1.) Area of wall to be painted = 10×10 m² = 100m²

Area of door = 3×2 m² = 6m²

Therefore area actually to be painted = 100- 6 m² = 94m²

2.) Area of parallelogram = base×height

height = Area/base = 24/4 cm = 6 cm

3.) Area of circle = Pi×r² = 3.14×30×30 cm² = 2826 cm²
